Achievement in Seed Production and Certification during last five years (2011-12 to 2016-17)

The Assam State Seed Certification Agency (ASSCA) has been undertaking various activities like seed production, certification and seed testing. Paddy, mustard, pulses, potato are the major crops brought under seed production and certification. Besides Seed Village Allotment, Certification is also done in Research stations of Assam Agriculture University, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, ASC farm, Govt. and private farms. Progress so made in seed production and certification during the last five years are enumerated in a list attached.
